Monday is arrival and orientation. Three mornings focus on operating businesses, practical finance, and Junior CEO questions. Friday closes with reflection and a plan to continue in the Family Financial Education Hub and participant community.
Local visits, art, dining, and nearby experiences depend on each cohort and availability. We share the exact itinerary privately.
A working week, with room to be a family.
Arrive Monday and head home Friday. Tuesday through Thursday begin with a focused, approximately 90-minute family learning session, then move into the businesses and the city around them.

Arrive in Atchison, check into a portfolio home, meet your hosts and fellow families, and get oriented to the week and its safety expectations.

Start with an age-aware money lesson, then visit the laundromat to ask about customers, equipment, pricing decisions, upkeep, and the cost of keeping a business running.
Step inside the property portfolio.
Use the morning session to frame revenue and expenses. Compare a short-term stay with long-term rentals and discuss occupancy, maintenance, guest experience, and tradeoffs.
Connect ideas to action.
Explore AI-assisted bookkeeping and year-end reporting workflows, then follow Wild Fi AI Innovations LLC’s approach to building apps and websites. Children test a product idea and explain a decision. Local visits or creative activities may be woven in when available.

Share each Junior CEO’s questions and takeaways, map the next steps in the Family Financial Education Hub and participant community, then depart Atchison.

Kansas City International (MCI) is the usual commercial gateway. For private aircraft, ask your flight operator to compare local Atchison access with Kansas City Downtown Airport–Wheeler Field (MKC).
Amelia Earhart Memorial Airport
Atchison’s public, non-towered general aviation airport offers local arrival and the Heartland Aviation fixed-base operation. The city lists fuel, maintenance, planning facilities, a pilot lounge, and a courtesy car.
The FAA recorded a 4,000 × 75-foot concrete Runway 09/27 commissioned September 18, 2026. Published runway closures remain in effect during this transition. Length alone does not set a universal plane-size limit: aircraft type, weight, performance, pavement limits, weather, and current notices all matter. Have your pilot or charter operator confirm access with the airport and FBO before planning K59.

Downtown Airport–Wheeler Field
MKC is a tower-controlled business aviation alternative with 24-hour operations, two FBOs, and longer runways: 6,827 × 150 feet and 5,050 × 100 feet as listed by the airport. It serves a broader range of aircraft and has ground access to the Kansas City area.
Confirm the aircraft’s performance and any current restrictions with your operator. Ground travel onward to Atchison is planned separately.
